Adding Bylaws (Administrators Only)

The Bylaws section of the LocoDELEGATIONS deals with the delegation of powers and duties of the Council’s bylaws.

Each Council Bylaw needs to be added individually and should include a link to the Bylaw on your website.

To add Bylaws:  Click Add New Bylaw

Complete the fields. The name of the Bylaw, a summary, a URL to the Bylaw and the related legislation from a drop-down list. This drop-down list is from the Acts section.

Click Save

For each Bylaw, you can view the Bylaw, view the history, add a section and print.

 

Adding a section

This is a similar process to adding a section under the Acts/Regulations.

Note:

  1. If the information is available, include the Council memo and a review date.
  2. This review date is important for notifying via the reporting function when a Bylaw needs to be reviewed.
  3. Click on Add Delegates
  4. You can add delegates or click Save

 

If you wish to add delegates, then click on Edit. For instructions on how to do this, refer to Adding Delegations in the Acts section.
