Adding Delegations to a Section (Administrators Only)

The Acts/Regulations are preloaded with sections that have delegable powers to Councils.

To add delegations to a specific section: Click on the Acts Section, then See Details of the Act you wish to add delegations to.

Add Group Delegates (previously set up in Set up) or Add delegates from the drop-down list, which is linked to the Roles database.

Use the search field to locate the Group or Role required. If you have multiple roles, you can set them up as a Group Delegate or add them individually.

Either Select the Group Delegate and click Add Group or Select the roles and then click Add New Delegate

Change the date of the delegation (it defaults to today’s date).

Add a link to a memo. The memo is a drop-down list from the Memos Section.

After all group delegates or delegated roles have been added, click Save

The summary defaults to the legal notes. The summary can be edited. The Legal Notes field is not editable.

 

To add a delegate group or role to multiple sections in an Act or Regulation click on Bulk Assign

Select by ticking, the sections required and choose a delegate group or individual role to assign.

Then click Assign Group or Assign Role
